Brian at the Gadget Bar is awesome. We have a built-in fireplace in our sunroom with a remote control that has an LCD screen and a few buttons. The buttons all stopped working a while back and we couldn't find a new remote anywhere. So, while it was probably an unusual request, we brought it to Brian and he couldn't have been any nicer or more enthusiastic about helping us fix it. He took it apart and confirmed that all the buttons on the circuit board were worn out. He found the exact button replacements online from a random Chinese supplier, ordered them for us, and soldered them onto the circuit board. The remote works like new again. Parts and labor were very reasonable - certainly less than buying a new remote. I would encourage you to look around your house for electronics that aren't working and bring them to The Gadget Bar to let Brian tinker with them!
I dropped off an iPad 4 that had the screen cracked, and was given amazing service with a few hours turnaround time. Excellent place to have your electronics repaired quickly, and at a very fair price.
I have been there three times before and on my fourth visit the manager was very unpleasant to work with. He didn't recognize me although I was a repeat customer. He took his time making his way to the front and seemed unwilling to help with my problem. Felt like he was only willing to meet me half way, and told me to go elsewhere for a cracked screen.
Brian took in my wife's dropped S8. It was repaired overnight at what I considered a reasonable cost. The perfect combo of service and price. No hesitation ever to work with Gadgetbar again!
Brian treated me like a customer that he has had for years. He sent me to another shop knowing they would be able to serve me better and he wanted me taken care of. Cannot recommend this place enough.
This place has great costumer service and super reasonable prices, better that any other places!!!
The owner was super nice and knowledgeable and explained really well all my options. He was able to fix my daughter's iPad.
Don't look any further, this is the place to go!!! I was really satisfied with the service I received!!
Brian knows what he is doing! He makes sure that you problem is fixed! I would not even think of going anywhere else if you have a phone issue. Other places are..."kids with screwdrivers"!
Brilliant! Everyone there is so genius! I've brought in a variety of damaged products including iPads, android tablets and phones. This past visit Adam totally helped me out. He is very knowledgeable and navigated all my devices with ease. He always has the customers best interest as his priority. He knows it's important to give you accurate information and practical timelines but still works so hard to get your repair back to you in the most timely fashion. He has left notes for the mailman and FedEx delivery people asking them to leave my replacement parts at his door if it's before or after business hours. Adam always makes sure he test each new part and that things are working 100% so you don't encounter any glitches. He takes his time with your product and will always be honest at giving you the best possible option for repair versus replacing an item. Gadget Bar rocks!
I highly recommend Gadget Bar! Brian is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. First visit, he replaced my daughters cracked screen same day at a great price! Recently came back when we needed to get data retrieved on a broken phone. He went above and beyond to help and my daughter was happy she got what she needed!
This is a great place. I came in first time to fix a broken screen on my daughters iPhone. The owner gave me a very reasonable price and the problem was fixed in less than an hour. Second time I can with a need to replace a broken port in my phone. Again service was great and the problem was fixed right on the spot. Recently I needed to change a battery in the old iPhone. I had the battery thought that could do it myself. Ordered parts online. As expected it came in with the wrong screwdriver, thus making it impossible to do it myself. I had to use this place again. The owner took care of the battery at no cost. He didn't have to it for free. When I asked him why, he said he values loyal costumers. That's what I call a great costumer service. Always attentive and return in abundance.
I found this place through Yelp and the reviews are all true. The experience was fantastic and the work done was prompt and reasonable. I got my old iPhone 4S fixed here.
This is a terrific business. The owner operated business opened three years ago and offers great service and fair pricing in a convenient location. I trust GadgetBar for my phone, tablet and PC repair needs.
My son broke off a headphone plug inside the jack of his iPad. Apple would have charged more than the IPad 4 is worth. GadgetBar got it done in under five minutes at a reasonable price while we waited in their comfortable waiting area; no "Genius Bar" Appointment. They even told us how long it would take if the iPad had to be opened up.
Give them a try; I would highly recommend them.
Thank God for these guys who fix our expensive devices when we break them. I dropped my iPhone 5s, shattering the screen. I of course looked to Yelp for a great repair shop and found Gadgetbar had many excellent reviews. The repair was quick, phone looks brand new and the service was excellent and pricing very fair. Hopefully I won't need to come back, but if I ever do need this service again I know where to go. Highly recommended!
I brought my Nexus 5 in for repair as it wouldn't take a charge. Brian tried a couple of different charging ports and even ordered a new battery attempting to figure out the problem. He worked diligently and methodically at testing the different hardware issues it might be but unfortunately it turned out that the main connection was faulty and to he advised me that to repair it might cost as much as a new phone. I really appreciated his honesty and after spending all of that time on the testing he refused to accept payment. I can't recommend them enough!
Incredibly grateful for Brian and the staff at Gadget Bar! I dropped my phone at a convention on Saturday and shattered the screen/digitizer/lcd. Brought it in on Monday night and the phone was finished on Tuesday afternoon. I used the coupon on the Yelp page and I thought the price was very reasonable for completely new parts on a phone. No bulls***, just straight up honesty and quality service. I got a Otter Box so I don't mess up my phone again. Again, very grateful, they saved the day!
Wow--these guys saved the day for me;I accidentally dropped and cracked the screen of my corporate Blackberry z10. Brought it to GadgetBar last Friday afternoon; they fixed it/had it ready for me to pick up the following Tuesday! If I had not had GadgetBar fix my work Blackberry, my company would've stuck me with some random downgraded phone; Instead, sweet baby Jesus sent me a GadgetBar angel, and now I'm back in business with my fixed up Blackberry! Thank you, sweet baby Jesus and GadgetBar! Hollah!
Wow, what a surprisingly good experience!
No one ever enjoys getting something fixed. It's an annoying, unexpected expense and the process is usually a huge nightmare - calling in warranties, dealing with automated phone systems, getting the general sense that no one cares whether or not you get your computer back in time for that big presentation or not.
That was not the case at Gadget Bar! I dropped off my obnoxiously large, self-built computer for them to take a look at. I was having issues with my graphics cards or something and wanted an outside opinion on how to address the issue. I left the computer and expected a response in a day or two.
I heard nothing for a whole week. My red flags went way up! Was the whole computer and phone repair business and elaborate hoax to run away with my multi-thousand dollar computer system?!? I called ready to get my business voice on, but was reassured that they were working on it and dealing with custom systems takes time.
The next day I got a phonecall from the technician, Tyler, assuring me there was significant progress and my computer was just more messed up then either of us had anticipated. Over the next few days he gave me daily updates and asked for my approval before making potentially expensive mods to my case and hardware. The process was very painful, and as someone who knows a good deal about computers he absolutely was not taking advantage of me.
The whole process took about a week and a half. I picked up the computer and the total repair costs were MUCH lower than I expected, even when dealing with such custom hardware! I was impressed with the work and the professionalism! The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 was for the week with no contact, but they quickly changed their tune once they knew it was an issue for me!
Overall I had a very pleasant repair process with the homies at the bar, and will be bringing my stuff back if I'm ever unfortunate enough to have another computer problem I can't fix on my own!
